The Antigua & Barbuda Forensic Services (ABFS) will be responsible for: –

• Providing a full range of forensic consultancy and forensic laboratory services to assisting all law enforcement agencies and other stake holders in and outside Antigua and Barbuda in their fight against crime and the detection of crimes;
• Providing technical investigation specialist assistance and support;
• Providing the timely, expert, and professional examination, analysis and evaluation of evidentiary materials to aid in the investigation, prosecution and/or exclusion of criminals and criminal offenses by utilizing sophisticated scientific equipment and proven scientific techniques;
• Assisting law enforcement agencies and other stake holders in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and internationally in their fight against crime and the detection of crime
• Assisting other government and non-government institutions with prompt and professional scientific analysis.
