The Antigua and Barbuda fire department is under the command of Assistant Commissioner of police Mr. Elvis Weaver, assisted by two (2) Superintendents of police Mr. Edwin Henry who is responsible for the operation and Mr. Rohan Rodney who is responsible for Administrative matters.
There are five Fire Stations attached to the Department and located strategically so as to provide firefighting service.
Coolidge Fire Station as the largest of Fire Station and bears the responsibility of providing coverage to all aircraft that operate at the V. C. Bird International Airport. It is also responsible for responding to any needed emergency around the airport compound and also any emergency at sea within a three miles radius of the airport.
