I am entrusted with the responsibility to lead this noble organization, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. Being the nation’s main Law Enforcement agency, the members and I have a legal obligation and mandate to provide quality policing service.
A message from Commissioner of Police Atlee P. Rodney, QPM, BSc
Since our existence, there have been numerous transformations and improvements that include methods, strategies, personnel, and equipment. But, one thing has remained constant; our General Duties stated in Section 23 (a) of Cap. 330 which is to “preserve the peace and prevent and detect crimes and other infractions of the Law”.

Moreover, the introduction and use of technology gave us the opportunity to fulfill one of our main thrust, which is to build and maintain close working relationships with the community. As we connect with people through this medium, it is our desire to fortify relationships and work together for the common good of all.
Over the years, we invested in developing the members of the Police Force and are confident that members have the skills, capacity, and ability to provide reliable law enforcement services. In partnership with the community, we will continue to provide courteous and professional service to every citizen, resident, and visitor in our twin-island state. We seek your continued support and welcome feedback of your observations as we strive for greater peace, safety, and security.
